Our GT Team member had an opportunity to attend the NAYGN Continental Conference: Energizing the Future of Nuclear in Charlotte North Carolina. This conference bought together young minds from the nuclear industry to share and build upon a vision of net-zero for electrical generation (as Canada embarks on Net-Zero by 2050). The conference covered various topics of interest including the ARC-100 reactor which will see a world first debut in NB, Canada! Other topics of discussion included optimizing nuclear through Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Reactor Deployments, and leadership and team development with a focus on diversity & inclusion. Additionally, the Bruce chapter of NAYGN received the best chapter award.
