Process, Piping and Mechanical Engineering
- Piping design/sizing, Piping stress analysis and pipe support design for above or underground systems and networks
- Preparation/development of piping GA and Isometric drawings including the bill of materials
- Detail design of
- HVAC systems including heating/cooling load calculations IAW ASHRAE
- Plumbing and drainage systems
- Water distribution system/networks and pump stations
- Waste water/sewage systems including lift stations
- Equipment selection based on process requirements and preparation of technical and purchase specifications
- Vendor document review/Design review and verification of:
- Major equipment such as pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, chillers and pressure vessels
- Mechanical systems in power plants, oil & gas and heavy industrial projects in accordance with ASME, ANSI, API, CSA or other major international code requirements
- Fire fighting systems included but not limited to firewater main/hydrant/stand pipe/FHC, sprinkler and fire suppression systems in compliance with NFPA
- Preparation of purchase and construction/installation/inspection specifications and procedures for the above-mentioned systems and equipment
- Developing operation and maintenance manuals for complex plants/projects
- Developing/Preparation of PFD, P&ID, piping and equipment layouts
- Verification of IFC/marked-up and as-built drawings
- Preparation of valve/line/specialty item/equipment lists
- Providing technical support for construction and commissioning
- Construction management, field inspection and supervision
- Welding and NDT inspection supervision in accordance with ASME BPV IX and relevant design codes
- Cost estimate and resource allocation
- Detailed project planning using professional software such as MS Project or Primavera
